Sharp Selects Malone Office Environments as Authorized Dealer and Expands National Independent Dealer Network

MAHWAH, NJ, September 12, 2012 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, announced that Malone Office Environments has joined its extensive nationwide network of authorized dealers. As part of the agreement, Malone will now offer a range of integrated technology solutions, including Sharp’s comprehensive portfolio of copiers and multifunction printers (MFPs). Sharp Authorized Dealers receive a wide array of marketing and sales support, including access to innovative tools and ongoing training.

Sharp Validates Ringdale's FollowMe Embedded For Use With Sharp OSA-Enabled MFPs

MAHWAH, NJ, September 12, 2012 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, and Ringdale are pleased to announce the validation of Ringdale’s Sharp OSA-developed integration, FollowMe Embedded. Product validation by Sharp verifies that a seamless integration exists between supported Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs and the FollowMe solution.

With the FollowMe Embedded application for Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs, users gain the convenience of accessing an all-in-one solution for tracking copy, print, email, fax and scan services, without the need for any external hardware. The intuitive user interface provides integrated single sign on (SSO) authentication, and FollowMe Printing’s secure print job roaming technology offers any organization a highly scalable solution.

Sharp Steps into Color Light Production, Establishes Cloud Presence at 2012 National Dealer Meeting

Celebrating its 100th year in business and 40th year in the document business, Sharp held its 2012 national dealer meeting on July 15-18 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Dallas, Texas. This year’s highlights included the announcement of two new high-volume color models, three light-production monochrome units and the big player: Sharp’s first device in the color production space.

The company also announced its first cloud platform: The Sharp B2B Cloud Portal, from which dealers can access and purchase cloud solutions from Sharp and Partner Program members and manage them via a unified license management console. Along with the portal, Sharp introduced two Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings of its own: Collaboration and Document Management Service and Sharp Remote Device Manager as a service.

Sharp® Introduces New High-Volume Monochrome Series Document Systems

DALLAS, TX, JULY 17, 2012 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announced three new models that will be added to the groundbreaking line of multifunction document systems for the high-volume markets. The new MX-M904, MX-M1054, MX-M1204 Hercules II monochrome series were showcased today at the company’s annual National Dealer Meeting where Sharp dealers had an opportunity to see these new workhorses close up.

Each of the new models will be available in three engine speeds: 90 pages-per-minute (ppm), 105ppm and 120ppm, and will offer advanced capabilities, such as air-feed paper handling for higher reliability and enhanced media support, and modular finishing options that offer professional folding and booklet making. To easily manage all these features, the Hercules II models utilize Sharp’s innovative 10.1-inch (diagonal) high-resolution touch screen user interface, that offers real time editing and customization.
