Sharp Earns Six Top Awards from Buyers Laboratory

MAHWAH, NJ-August 06,2015 Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has earned six Summer 2015 Pick awards from Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI), the world's leading independent evaluator of document imaging products and solutions. Sharp received top accolades across the multifunction printer (MFP) product spectrum, including the flagship Pro Series, for superior quality and high reliability in their respective categories.

BLI's semi-annual awards are given to the hardware and software offerings judged to demonstrate the most important performance factors for buyers. With its Pick awards, BLI gives special recognition to those products with the most outstanding performance across its exhaustive lab tests. The Outstanding Achievement awards acknowledge products or capabilities that exhibit attributes such as innovation, usefulness, energy efficiency, reliability or value.


Sharp Earns Business Technology Association’s Top 2015 Channel’s Choice Award

Kansas City, MO - May 2015 - Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America was recently presented with the 2015 Channel’s Choice Superior Performance Award by the Business Technology Association (BTA; Pete Salmon, vice president of Western Region Sales for Sharp, accepted the coveted award on behalf of Sharp on May 7 from 2014-15 BTA President Ron Hulett at BTA's Cruise to Success event, hosted by BTA Mid-America at the Radisson Blu Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. In addition, Sharp received Channel’s Choice awards in the Distribution and Product Line performance categories. The company was also among the winners in a three-way tie for the Channel Choice Award in the Corporate Support performance category.

Two other manufacturers were also presented with 2015 Channel’s Choice awards. KYOCERA Document Solutions America received the award for its Outstanding Performance as a Secondary Product Line Provider. The company also received an award in the three-way tie in the Corporate Support performance category. Tom Walsh, vice president of the Western Division for Kyocera, accepted the awards.


Sharp Wins Business Technology Association's Top Award For The Channel's Choice Of Primary Vendor

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), has received the 2015 Business Technology Association (BTA) top overall Channel's Choice award for overall satisfaction of a manufacturer based on: Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line and Inventory performance. The award recognizes Superior Performance as a Primary Line Provider and was presented at a ceremony during a BTA Event held in Minneapolis, on May 7.

The awards were based on the results of BTA's "Channel's Choice" survey of dealers, ranking the level of satisfaction with their equipment manufacturer/suppliers in various performance categories.


Sharp Announces Tour de Force 2015 Road Tour

Sharp Electronics’ SmartStorage® Behind-the-Meter Energy Storage Solution Installed on Baker Electric Facility in Southern California

Sharp Named to EPEAT Green Electronics Registry

By providing environmental ratings on electronics, EPEAT helps companies, governments and consumers easily identify and purchase greener devices for improved environmental benefits. Sharp Looks to Expand High-End Product Success with New Light-Production Color Engines

Building on its success in the high-end office space and its BLI Pick-winning monochrome production devices (the 95-ppm MX-M950 and the 110-ppm MX-M1100), Sharp recently made its initial foray into the color light-production space with the MX-7500N and MX-6500N.
