These much sought-after accolades were given after extensive testing over several months. New Application Links Copystar MFPs to Google Accounts

This new application, developed by Kyocera, enables Copystar multifunctional product (MFP) users to directly access their Google email and calendar functions.

Google Connector works seamlessly with any HyPAS-enabled Copystar MFP. Users simply access their Google accounts via the MFP’s touch screen control panel. They can then browse their emails and folders—including inbox, sent mail, and personalized folders—or print their email messages, attachments, or calendars.

Copystar Introduces a Scalable, Enterprise-Wide Fax Solution

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – July 17, 2013 Copystar, a division of KYOCERA Document Solutions America and a leading document imaging company, today announced the launch of Kyocera RightFax Connector. This Kyocera-developed business application connects a Copystar multifunctional product (MFP) to a new or existing OpenText® RightFax server—thereby allowing users to fax documents directly from the MFP.

Using Kyocera RightFax Connector is intuitive. Users scan a hard copy (or select one from stored archives) and enter a fax destination via the Copystar MFP’s control panel. The application will automatically put the job in the fax server’s outbound queue.

KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. Joins MOPRIA Alliance as an Executive Member

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – April 16, 2014 – KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc., a leading manufacturer of document imaging solutions and document management systems, announced today it has joined the MopriaTM Alliance, a nonprofit organization created with the goal of simplifying wireless printing from smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.

The Mopria Alliance aims to develop a standard interface that will allow users to connect to any printer —regardless of its manufacturer—with virtually any mobile device. By joining the Alliance as an executive member, KYOCERA is confirming its stance as an active participant in the pursuit of standardized, intuitive, and wireless printing environment.

Copystar Color Multifunctional Product Wins 'Winter Pick 2014' and 'Highly Recommended' from Buyers Laboratory

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – March 12, 2014 – Copystar, a division of KYOCERA Document Solutions America and a leading document imaging company, today announced that Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) “Highly Recommends” the CS 5551ci color multifunctional product (MFP). BLI, a leading provider of product intelligence for the imaging industry, also awarded the Copystar CS 5551ci color MFP its “Winter Pick 2014” award for “Outstanding 51- to 60-ppm A3 Color MFP.” The independent lab pointed to the MFP’s reliability and overall performance as two reasons for the strong recommendations.

When releasing the results for the CS 5551ci, BLI cited speeds of 50 pages-per-minute (ppm) in color and 55 ppm in black, as well as “above average scan capabilities, including small compressed color scan file sizes and faster than average scan speeds in duplex mode.” BLI also reported that the robust color MFP exceeded rated toner yields for all four colors. Of equal importance was the MFP’s ability to multitask. BLI found that the Copystar MFP “experiences virtually no delays between jobs, and the number of print jobs that can be sent to the device is limited only by memory capacity.”
