Osaka, Japan – August 19, 2015 – KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced the launch of a business application called "KYOCERA MyPanel". This new application enables users to operate KYOCERA printers and MFPs remotely by using their iOS, Android and Windows phone devices. This application is available for download from App Store (for iOS devices), Google Play (for Android devices), and Windows Phone Store (for Windows Phone devices).

KYOCERA MyPanel lets users connect their mobile devices to KYOCERA MFPs and printers through a corporate Wi-Fi network in order to copy, scan and print from custom box. The major benefit of this application is that users can enjoy the same operability regardless of panel types, an LCD or a large color touch panel model, and A3 or A4 model as long as they use KYOCERA printers or MFPs supporting this application.

Copystar Introduces Two New Color Multi-functional Printers That Bring the Desktop Power to the Next Level

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – June 9, 2015 – Copystar, a division of KYOCERA Document Solutions America and a leading document imaging company, today announced the launch of two new ECOSYS® multifunctional printers (MFPs), both of which allow workgroups to print, copy, and scan from a single, compact device. The ECOSYS M6535cidn and ECOSYS M6035cidn output crisp color or black-and-white pages at an impressive rate of 37 pages per minute (ppm); they also offer a range of powerful features, including a 75-sheet document processor, intuitive 7.0” color touch screen, and optional wireless printing capabilities.

Five Copystar Solutions America Multifunctional Products Highly Recommended by Buyers Laboratory

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – March 16, 2015 – Copystar, a division of KYOCERA Document Solutions America and a leading document imaging company, today announced that Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) highly recommends the CS 7551ci and 3051ci color multifunctional products (MFPs), and the CS 5501i, 3501i, and 3010i monochrome MFPs. BLI, a leading provider of product intelligence for the imaging industry, awarded each of the five devices its Highly Recommended/Excellent rating for reliability. Both color MFPs earned additional Excellent commendations for value; the monochrome devices were also recognized with top marks in value as well and print quality.

In evaluating the color MFPs, BLI cited their “outstanding reliability,” and noted that their excellent features combined with a lower acquisition cost “make for an outstanding value.” Equally important, BLI noted that these color devices had “faster than average tested scan speeds” and “smaller than average color scan file sizes.”

Test Facilities at KYOCERA Document Solutions’ R&D Center Receive International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation for Chemical Emissions

Osaka, Japan — February 13, 2015 —KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc. announces that the test facilities located at its R&D center (Osaka City) have received International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation as a chemical emission test site by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA), an accreditation body for test facilities.

ISO/IEC 17025 is an International Standard designed for the accreditation of test and calibration processes in specific fields of testing, which ensures that the test process, calibration processes, and test laboratories conform to a quality management system, and that the laboratory is equipped to perform tests and calibration activities at a global standard.

Copystar Application Boosts Efficiency and Employee Productivity

DMConnect offers advanced features like multi-destination workflows, user group restrictions and searchable list fields. By customizing their document processes, businesses can streamline their operations to more easily comply with regulatory standards. Plus, users can take advantage of optional document enhancement features, such as optical character recognition (OCR) powered by Nuance OmniPage, to transform hard copy documents into searchable text.
