3D Systems Completes Acquisition of Cimatron

ROCK HILL, South Carolina, February 9, 2015 – 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of all shares of Cimatron Ltd. (NASDAQ:CIMT) for approximately $97 million, inclusive of Cimatron’s net cash. The integration of Cimatron’s software products into the company’s portfolio strengthens 3DS’ leadership position in 3D-printing-centric advanced manufacturing by enabling a seamless digital workflow between design and traditional and additive manufacturing processes. The transaction adds complementary technology, extends 3DS’ sales coverage globally, multiplexes cross-selling opportunities and is expected to be accretive to the company’s cash generation and Non-GAAP earnings per share for the full year 2015.

3D Systems Gets Two Significant U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory and America Makes Development Contracts

ROCK HILL, South Carolina, February 3, 2015 – 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today that it has been awarded two research contracts worth over $1 million dollars to develop advanced aerospace and defense 3D printing manufacturing capabilities at convincing scale. These contracts are administered by America Makes (the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute) and funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

Underscoring 3DS’ technological leadership and proven defense and aerospace manufacturing track record, the two contracts leverage 3DS’ proprietary Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Direct Metal 3D Printing (DMP) portfolio to meet the most demanding advanced manufacturing road map of the United States Air Force. 3D Systems Partners with National Institutes of Health (NIH) to Advance Medical Innovations Through 3D Printing

ROCK HILL, South Carolina, January 15, 2015 – 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced its role as a key partner in the 2015 Science in 3D Festival organized by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). 3D Systems Previews New Chocolate 3D Printer CocoJetTM at 2015 International CES

ROCK HILL, South Carolina, January 6, 2015 – 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today that it will preview the CocoJetTM, a chocolate 3D printer developed in collaboration with The Hershey Company, at the 2015 International CES, at Sands Expo, booth 72225. Ideal for the baker or chocolatier, the CocoJet prints custom designs in dark, milk or white chocolate.

CocoJet is the latest result of 3DS’ partnership with The Hershey Company. It debuted at the 3D Chocolate Candy printing exhibit at Hershey’s Chocolate World on December 19, 2014, as the most advanced 3D chocolate printer in operation. The collaboration explores ways to incorporate 3D chocolate printing into Hershey’s Chocolate World live experience and provides valuable market research on the consumer applications for chocolate 3D printing. 3D Systems Acquires 3D Printer Maker botObjects and Introduces CubePro® C Full-Color 3D Printer

The company did not disclose the terms of the transaction, but expects it to be accretive to its 2015 results. The company invites International CES 2015 attendees to experience its revolutionary CubePro C for the first time this week at the 3DS booth, located at the Sands Expo, booth 72225.

botObjects pioneered the first 3D desktop printer using PlasticJet Printing (PJP) that offers true full-color 3D printing, significantly expanding the palette of possibilities for what designers, artists and engineers create, from prototypes to products. botObjects also invented a proprietary 5-color CMYKW cartridge system, capable of mixing primary printing colors on the fly to generate vibrant color combinations and gradient transitions.

3D Systems Partners with The Culinary Institute of America to Advance Food 3D Printing

ROCK HILL, South Carolina, December 30, 2014 – 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD) announced today a partnership with The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to provide faculty and students the opportunity to explore the intersection of 3D printed food and artisan culinary methods.
