Konica Minolta Awards 2nd Annual High School Scholarships to Inspirational New Orleans Students

Ramsey, N.J. and New Orleans, La. – April 21, 2008 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced the recipients of its second annual scholarship program that will allow three graduating eighth grade students from the KIPP McDonogh 15 School for the Creative Arts (KIPP McDonogh 15) to attend top-rated, private New Orleans high schools.  The scholarship initiative is conducted through its Colorful Tomorrow Foundation, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable division of the company that focuses its efforts on the creation of more colorful and better tomorrows for children.  For the students of KIPP McDonogh 15, the scholarships will provide them with the opportunity to attend private, college-preparatory high schools that will prepare them for higher education as part of Konica Minolta’s ongoing commitment to the school.


Joe Lucilio Returns to GEI WideFormat as National Service Director

April 21, 2008 (North Canton, Ohio). Mr. Roger Ilgen, President and General Manager of GEI WideFormat, a Visual Edge Technology Company, has announced the appointment of Mr. Joseph Lucilio to the position of National Service Director for the service arm of this growing wide format imaging solutions enterprise. Every Day is Earth Day at Xerox

NORWALK, Conn., April 21, 2008  -- With green practices that began even before the first Earth Day was observed in 1970, every day is Earth Day at Xerox. iDatix Nominated for Third Consecutive Year as a Best Place to Work

Tampa, FL — For the third consecutive year, iDatix — an emerging leader in Business Automation solutions — was named one of the “Best Places to Work” in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

HP Signs Strategic Marketing Agreement with Omnicom

PALO ALTO, Calif., April 18, 2008 - HP today announced that it has formed a strategic relationship with Omnicom Group Inc. to drive forward the global communications strategy for the company’s Imaging and Printing Group and to develop a digital print supply chain that will streamline the creation, management and printing of marketing campaign materials.

GEI WideFormat Appoints Two New Dealer Sales Managers

Green Grief! Are you the office environmental offender?

NORWALK, Conn., April 17, 2008  -- Do you consider yourself environmentally aware? Are you the Chief Recycling Officer of your household? What about at work?

Results of a North American survey released today by Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) to measure environmental consciousness in the workplace, found that work colleagues may have some strong objections to those who don't walk-the-green-talk at the office.

Almost 40 percent of U.S. respondents said their number one office environmental pet peeve was mindless printing resulting in abandoned pages at the printer, followed closely by leaving the lights on in unused offices (37 percent).

Xerox To Acquire Veenman; Expands Reach to Small and Mid-Size Businesses in the Netherlands

NORWALK, Conn., April 16, 2008  -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and Corporate Express NV (NYSE: CXP) today announced a definitive agreement for Xerox to acquire Veenman B.V., a subsidiary of Corporate Express, for approximately $68 million (€43 million) expanding Xerox's reach into the small and mid-sized business (SMB) market in the Netherlands. Veenman, with six offices located throughout the Netherlands, is the country's leading independent distributor of office printers, copiers, and multifunction devices serving small and mid-size businesses.

Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Capelle a/d IJssel, the Netherlands, Veenman has recently expanded to provide document management software and consulting support to its customers. As an office technology dealer, Veenman sells products from various suppliers, none of which today include Xerox. In addition to its existing offerings, Veenman will start selling Xerox document management products following the close of the acquisition.
