While small enough to work as a desktop scanner, high speeds of up to 70 pages per minute (ppm) enable smaller organizations to use the i2800 scanner as a departmental scanner.

Other recently introduced models within the i2000 Series Scanners include the KODAK i2400 Scanner and KODAK i2600 Scanner. The series includes a number of viable features that enable greater ease of use and more consistent image quality. KODAK Smart Touch Scanning feature includes up to nine pre-defined scan-to operations, while KODAK Perfect Page Image Processing Technology helps users to maintain high quality scans, using image sharpening, streak filtering and image hole file for high fidelity images.

The i2000 Series Scanners additionally serve as a cost-effective investment for government agencies. Bundled TWAIN and ISIS drivers, which are easily customizable, enable ease of third party software interoperability with Kodak’s scanners, while the entire series is also backed by a three-year worry-free warranty.

For government users located across multiple offices, the i2800 scanner can help them achieve more at the point of capture by enabling images to be immediately sent to a central location for easy access—including email clients and SHAREPOINT (sites). Additionally, using a dual LED illumination camera system, the i2800 provides exceptional image clarity, color stability and high-speed first scans, while yielding excellent OCR read rates for increasing accuracy of data extraction. The ergonomic design of the KODAK i2800 Scanner includes the use of an upright position and a built-in handle for easy portability.

The KODAK i5600 Scanner performs at 170 ppm and allows large volumes of documents to be processed with optimized memory allocation, customized capabilities for job streams, and programmable function keys to improve processing times. The KODAK i5000 Series Scanners enables users to process and manage more data per dollar—up to 33 percent more accurately than select competitors, even with all imaging features enabled.

Kodak’s 2011 booth at FOSE also highlighted:

the KODAK i4600 Scanner.
