Captaris Announces General Availability of Industry's Only TIFF iFilter for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server

Captaris put to use its powerful OCR engine to enable the new TIFF iFilter to conduct full text search and retrieval of image documents alongside Microsoft Office and other electronic documents. The new product was developed in response to a direct request from Microsoft’s customers for TIFF support in Office SharePoint Server 2007.
