Kyocera Introduces QuickPrint SMB Small and Medium Business Application for On-Demand, Touchscreen Printing on MFPs
urope - Kyocera Document Solutions, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, announces the launch of its QuickPrint SMB application for small to medium size businesses, schools, health care providers and more. Joining the QuickPrint version for larger enterprises, that Kyocera introduced last year, the latest QuickPrint SMB application streamlines smaller organisations, reducing time-consuming and unnecessary office work.
Like its big brother, the QuickPrint SMB application's purpose is to simplify and speed up document management as well as printing and business operations, while saving costs. Its range of small-business-friendly features begins with installation; the application installs directly and easily on multifunctional devices without requiring a system administrator or IT professional.
Challenges of Administrative Document Applications
In most office environments, paper handling is still a major part of day-to-day business processes. This is especially true of administrative applications, such as those that involve accounting, legal, or human resources operations. Such applications involve heavy volumes of forms and supporting documentation that must be routed manually, resulting in time-consuming and error-prone processes.
Document imaging can help address many of the major inefficiencies and costs associated with paper-based processes. Imaging and digital routing can streamline processes, minimize the risk of lost documents, and reduce the mail, shipping and courier costs involved in transporting documents between offices. Digital images can be stored in a searchable repository, making it much easier for users to find and retrieve the documents they need to do their jobs. Document imaging also reduces paper storage requirements, saving space while reducing filing time.
Document imaging can also help address other business risks associated with handling paper. For example, digitizing documents can ensure that documents get under organizational control as quickly as possible, which helps facilitate sound records management practices and regulatory compliance. In addition, this allows organizations to secure their documents.
FAIRFIELD, N.J. – May 20, 2013 – Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., a global leader in advanced imaging technology and practical document solutions, today announced that Pantone LLC, the world-renowned provider of professional color standards, has approved the TASKalfa 5550ci, 4550ci, 3550ci, and 3050ci MFPs for PANTONE Color production capabilities.
Pantone approval is granted only after rigorous analysis. When testing the TASKalfa devices, the company’s color scientists and color analysts developed Kyocera device-specific look-up tables, allowing users to print superior simulations of proprietary PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® Colors. Pantone scrutinized the output—along with the toner, driver, resolution, and engine of each TASKalfa device. Overall the results during this analysis were found to be exceptional.
