TGI Office Automation Honored with Top Dealer Awards at 2008 National Lanier Sales Conference

West Caldwell, NJ, November 6, 2008 – Lanier, a product brand of Ricoh Americas Corporation, today announced that Brooklyn-based dealer, TGI Office Automation, has been honored with the Chairman’s Award and Top B2C (business-to-consumer) Award at the 2008 ALLIANCE national sales conference. This is the second year in a row that TGI has received both prestigious awards. In addition, the dealership was named to the 2008 Elite Dealer list by Office Dealer Magazine, a leading publication for the office supply dealer industry.

Each year, Lanier recognizes outstanding dealers with top sales performance and outstanding customer service. The Chairman’s Award is given to the dealer that generates the most revenue during the fiscal year for the brand. TGI has topped the Lanier dealer network in sales for the past two years due to its compassionate sales force that understands its customers’ unique needs, as well as its ability to work along side its customers as a partner, not just a supplier. This technique has proven to be the key to success for TGI as it also has been named the Top B2C dealer for two years running. Lanier presents this award to the dealership that earns the most revenue for the brand’s B2C product line.

“Our slogan of ‘Thinking Great Ideas’ is more than just a slogan; it is our company mantra,” said Frank Grasso, CEO, TGI Office Automation. “Our goal is to provide our customers with great ideas that help improve their document workflow, control costs, meet compliancy requirements and reduce waste. Our commitment to great customer service, backed by a great partnership with Lanier, allows us to provide unmatched support and world class products.”

TGI is a family-owned company committed to the satisfaction of its customers and the professional development of its more than 300 employees. Founded in 1964, TGI is the largest Lanier dealer in the country and has offices in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Despite its size, TGI prides itself on servicing all types of businesses from small one or two-person shops to large corporate conglomerates. For this reason, Office Dealer Magazine selected TGI as one of its picks for Elite Dealer 2008. Dealers that made the list share the characteristics of success, perseverance, spirit of entrepreneurialism and a dedication to customers and the community in which they are based. In total, eight Lanier dealers made the Elite Dealer list.

“Dealers like TGI – with a commitment to Lanier, its customers and the community alike – are critical to the success of this brand,” said Art Mahony, east regional vice president, Lanier. “For more than four decades, TGI has proven that it is a leader in office equipment sales and customer service.
