Billback Systems, a world leader in cost recovery systems for legal and professional service firms, announced the appointment of Andrea Foot as vice president of sales for Australia and Asia.
Foot will oversee the company’s sales teams in the region
She was hired as part of Billback’s aggressive global growth plans. The firm has enjoyed a great deal of success in the Australia market since it was founded in Sydney 25 years ago and is now the largest provider of cost recovery systems to law firms throughout the country. Billback is also enjoying rapid growth from recent expansions into the U.S. and U.K. markets.
Now, Foot will be tasked with building upon those successes as the company moves aggressively into the relatively uncharted territory of Asia and other Australasian markets.
“Billback is very excited to have Andrea joining our team,” said Andrew Moon, Billback’s CEO. “She brings an impressive resume in legal technology sales and a sincere commitment to help clients find the right strategic solution to expense management problems. She’s a perfect fit to help our team continue its growth.”
Prior to joining Billback, Foot served as CEO for Axxia Systems–Australia where she led the U.K. legal software company’s launch in Australia. She had also served as their national sales manager and major markets manager in the UK. Foot further served the legal industry as a business development manager for the application support firm ITNet Pic and Miles 33, a practice management systems company. Her experience in legal technology spans nearly 20 years and several continents.
“My team’s first goal is always to make sure our base of loyal Billback clients here in Australia remains happy,” said Foot. “Then, we can look to take advantage of the substantial opportunities for expansion into Asia as their legal markets mature and look for ways to stay competitive with global counterparts and manage their expenses.”
Billback’s suite of cost management solutions is a favorite among top law firms and in other professional industries. The company helps clients boost profitability by managing expenses for client-related administrative costs including network printing and faxing, copying, scanning, telephone and mobile phone calls, online searches, emails, credit card charges, courier costs and more. Billback’s system is built to work seamlessly with 3rd party document management tools like Interwoven and scanning software such as Omtool and eCopy. Additionally, the system enjoys tight integration with billing and practice management software such as Thomson Elite, SAP, and Axxia.
