Konica Minolta Wins BLI Outstanding Achievement Award for Energy Efficiency

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today announced that Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) has awarded Konica Minolta with a Summer 2010 "Outstanding Achievement" award for Energy Efficiency for their bizhub C452.

Based on its significantly lower than average projected annual energy consumption, which helped earn it a five-star rating in its Environmental Test Report, the Konica Minolta bizhub C452 has been honoured with an “Outstanding Achievement” award for “Energy Efficiency” in the A3 colour MFD category. This unit also proved to use a lower than average amount of energy in most running and non-running modes tested. Plus, its recovery times from energy-save and sleep modes are significantly faster than average, allowing users to set the device to go into its lowest energy-using modes without sacrificing productivity.

“Energy efficiency is more important than ever in this time of rapid resource depletion. Every Watt counts, but with the bizhub C452, you barely have to,” said Lisa Reider, BLI’s senior product editor for scanners and environmental.

“Konica Minolta strives to be ‘Green at Heart’ and is very pleased to be presented the Outstanding Achievement award from BLI in the A3 colour MFD category. The energy efficient design of all Konica Minolta MFDs will allow our customers to control their carbon footprint from a print perspective while ensuring they have exceptional technology to complete their day to day activities,” said Brett Palmer, National Product Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia.
