IRVINE, Calif., May 20, 2009 – Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), the leading provider of Intelligent Capture & Exchange solutions, today announced the company and its Chief Executive Officer earned top honors in two major categories of the 2009 TechAmerica High-Tech Innovation Awards. Kofax won the Outstanding Public Company award and Reynolds C. Bish, its Chief Executive Officer, was named Outstanding Public Company CEO.

Presented by TechAmerica's Orange County and Inland Empire Councils, the 16th Annual High-Tech Innovation Awards recognizes technology companies, individuals and products that drive innovation. Winners were announced at the recent TechAmerica dinner and awards ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa, CA.
Kofax, which has earned previous TechAmerica honors, including the High-Tech Innovation Award, is headquartered in Irvine, the technology hub of Orange County, CA.
