Océ Expands Media Line for Solvent-Based Inkjet Printers

March 26, 2008 – Trumbull, CT – Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced a major expansion of the Océ Imaging Supplies solvent inkjet media portfolio with the addition of thirteen new products. The new solvent portfolio provides upgrades to the Océ solvent specialty Photo Paper, Backlit Film and Fabric lines, as well as new competitively priced Scrim Banner and Adhesive Backed Vinyl products. The new solvent media line will be on display in Océ booth #436 at the International Sign Expo in Orlando FL, March 27-29, 2008.

Premium Photo Satin Paper (PHOTOSAT) – This new product has a bright white, solvent-compatible inkjet receiver coating with a smooth surface. It is designed to produce photo-quality images with improved color gradients and image uniformity when using solvent inks. Océ PHOTOSAT is a superior choice for high-resolution photographic indoor applications intended for up-close viewing. It is compatible with most solvent inkjet printers and inks and produces a vibrant luster image when printed on the Océ Arizona® 250 GT with UV curable inks. Océ PHOTOSAT is available in 36-, 54-, and 60-inch wide rolls by 150-foot lengths.


Océ Introduces Océ CS9160 Eco-Solvent Printer

March 25, 2008 – Trumbull, CT – Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today introduced the Océ CS9160 printer that uses Eco-solvent inks to create indoor and outdoor-durable prints. The Océ CS9160 printer will be on display in the Océ booth #436 at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, FL, March 27-29, 2008.
Building on the success of its predecessor the Océ CS9060 model, the 64-inch wide Océ CS9160 printer provides proven reliability, superior print quality and increased productivity. It offers expanded ink capacity with the ability to use 440 ml cartridges. With 440 ml of ink always on-line, productivity is increased because ink change-outs are halved compared to printers using standard 220 ml cartridges. The Océ CS9160 delivers improved print speeds over the Océ CS9060, without sacrificing quality. Print speeds of up to 197 square feet per hour at 720 x 720 dpi are achievable.


Océ Introduces Océ CS9200 Series Low-Solvent Printers

March 25, 2008 – Trumbull, CT – Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today introduced the Océ CS9200 Series low-solvent inkjet printers offering production print speeds and high quality output. Two models are available: the 65-inch wide Océ CS9265 and the 88-inch wide Océ CS9290. These printers are ideal for producing point-of-purchase signage, vinyl and textile banners, vehicle graphics, exhibition displays, window graphics and more. The Océ CS9290 printer will be on display in the Océ booth #436 at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando, FL, March 27-29, 2008.

The Océ CS9200 Series is designed to use new High Speed Low-solvent inks, which were developed to support the production print speeds of the Océ CS9200 Series and enable the use of a variety of print modes for many different applications across a wide range of media. These inks offer superior color gamut, improved drying characteristics and excellent lightfastness, and can be used for up to three years outdoors without lamination. They are scratch-, smear- and crack-resistant, and lamination is only advised for heavy-duty applications where mechanical stress is involved, such as floor and vehicle graphics. The Océ CS9200 Series can also use Océ IJC910 Low-solvent inks.

Xerox Creates Calculator That Measures Environmental Efficiency; First in the Industry to Answer &quot;How Green is Your Office?&quot;

NORWALK, Conn., March 25, 2008  -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today unveiled the industry's first Sustainability Calculator designed to help customers pinpoint opportunities to reduce their environmental impact while reducing costs. The new proprietary software tool measures the overall impact a company's document technologies have on the environment.

The Sustainability Calculator is the newest assessment tool available through Xerox Office Services. It evaluates the current office environment of printers, copiers and multifunction devices and then measures environmental benefits that could be achieved in terms of energy and paper use, solid waste, water, air and greenhouse gas emissions. This tool provides customers the first fact-based measurement of their environmental footprint.
