The computers and files are packed and the trucks are on the way for Billback’s move across town.
Billback Systems, the global leader in expense management systems, has signed a long-term lease for a new office in North Sydney to provide for more space for the growing Australian team, which is the primary factor, according to Dave Alspach, Billback’s vice president of global operations.
“We’ve simply outgrown our existing facility in St. Leonards and wanted to be closer to our clients,” said Alspach. “The new facility will finally allow us to have all our various teams–R&D, support, installation, finance, and management–on the same floor. It’s a far better utilization of space and a much nicer look overall.”
The move will also allow Alspach and his team to further standardise the international company’s telephone and computer network infrastructure in order to allow for seamless, global, customer call center support.
Billback takes over the new office at 321 Pacific Highway, North Sydney on Friday, June 27 and Monday, June 30.
Customers will not experience any disruption because of the move. The company’s support and business phone numbers will remain the same and, once the dust settles, Billback will hold a private reception and open house for clients.
“This move is another testament to how far we’ve come since the company was founded in a Sydney apartment 25 years ago,” said Andrew Moon, CEO of Billback. “We continue to offer a proven product that clients want and, because of that, have been able to see consistent growth.”
The North Sydney office houses 25 employees. Billback also has offices in London and Dayton, Ohio, USA. The company’s headquarters are in the U.S. but critical support and R&D operations remain in Australia.
Billback’s cost management tools and expense management system help professional service clients boost profitability by managing expenses for client-related administrative costs including network printing and faxing, copying, scanning, telephone and mobile phone calls, online searches, emails, credit card charges, courier costs and more.
The firm entered the U.S. market four years ago and the U.K. market eight years ago. It remains the dominant industry leader in Australia.
