FMAudit helps put the "Automation" back into Pacific Office Automation

JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI & SEATTLE WASHINGTON - August 4, 2008 - FMAudit’s technology continues to lead the pack with the largest fleet of monitored devices in the industry.

Under their new agreement, Pacific Office Automation (POA) will utilize FMAudit's new generation of print management technology for assessment, automated meter collection, supplies triggered delivery and supplies triggered marketing.  Of the key decision factors, FMAudit's team has been pioneering related solutions since 1998, with extensive knowledge in print management and relationships with the majority of the OEM’s.

Pacific Office recognizes that not every customer will let you install data collection software on their network.  ”WebAudit plays a critical role in the future success of POA’s print management initiatives.” stated Ron Ropp, Director of Professional Services, POA.  “Not every client will let you install software on their network or plug in a removable USB drive.  WebAudit is initiated from a standard web browser, discovering and retrieving all printer and MFP related meters.”

This patent pending technology gathers meter readings over the web without any software required at the client's site.  When used for assessment, WebAudit offers the promise of finding new sales opportunities.  For automated collection for billing, WebAudit integrates naturally with a dealer’s current workflow.  The client simply clicks on a web link in their meter notification email or a link the dealer posts on their main company website.  Back at the dealer’s office, the resultant meters are submitted into the dealers ERP system such as eAutomate, Lacrosse or OMD.

“WebAudit is the perfect replacement to USB Key technology.  FMAudit keeps a few steps ahead of their competition and continues to raise the bar in the area of print management.” said Brian Jackson, Information Technology Manager, POA.

Furthermore, as with many dealers, a large portion of POA’s fleet is comprised of local printers; those attached to a PC.  “Local printers aren’t going away anytime soon.” stated Kevin Tetu, President and CEO, FMAudit.  “POA has a large population of local printers.  These have the same requirements as a networked device.  Our patent pending technology is unique and is the only effective answer.  Our Agent speaks direct with the local printer.  As with a networked device, Agent provides POA with color vs. mono page counts, toner coverage’s, supply levels and service alerts on most makes and models.”

“After extensive research and analysis of many solutions, FMAudit came out on top.” stated Doug Pitassi, VP / Director of Sales, POA.  “They provided us with a solution to fulfill our main objectives today, with plenty of room to grow in the future.”

“We’re honored with POA’s decision to move forward in their partnership with FMAudit.“ replied Mr. Tetu. “We’ll continue to work hard for their business.”
