The Company
Kyocera Wireless Corp. (KWC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyocera International Inc., which acquired QUALCOMM Incorporated’s CDMA consumer wireless phone business in February 2000. Based in San Diego, Calif., Kyocera Wireless Corp. is a leading supplier of innovative, feature-rich CDMA handsets and accessories for customers worldwide.
The Problem
KWC’s marketing group is tasked with educating and training not only their own sales force, but also those front line retail employees who sell phones to the consumer. They have an on-going need for informative and entertaining materials that speak to an extremely diverse audience – in terms of both education and attention span. The goal was to educate the audience as to the overall KWC brand and product line as well as simply the often-complex features and functionality of each phone.
The Solution
After working closely with KWC’s marketing staff, the following materials were created and implemented:
